Definition: You can go by the Deviantart’s definition, that is a copy of the London’s Festival definition, you can go to Wikipedia, or even surf for another with your web search engine, but it all comes to this: a candid shot; taken in a public place; not staged (beyond doubt); that represent Human Beings and their environment; and projects a Human Being characteristic in the viewer like a smile, a grin, a emotion, a thought, and so on; containing a context to cause an immediate impact. Keep in mind that, subconsciously, your eyes look for the human representation. But the person can be there… or not.
